I have to cancel my reservation. How does your refund policy work?
Cancelations are fully refundable up to two weeks before your stay. After that point, the refund will be contingent on whether we are able to find a replacement rental.
Are pets allowed at the cabins?
Pets are welcome; our pets enjoy the area as much as we do. We charge a $25.00 flat rate because of the extra cleaning along with wear and tear on the cabin. Please let us know that you are bringing your pet when making the reservation.
Is the cabin availability up-to-date?
Yes, the software updates instantaneously.
Where’s the nearest grocery?
There is a Kroger about 15 minutes drive away.
How do I pay for a cabin?
Enter your credit card information on our website when making the reservation. We process through PayPal.- We accept checks. Please make all checks out to Red River Gorgeous and send to:

Do we provide sheets, blankets, linens or pillows?
Not usually, however we can for an additional fee.
What activities are there to do nearby?
The Red River Gorge is full of opportunities to enjoy nature. You can hike on over 200 miles of trails, grab a pizza at Miguel's, canoe, rock climb, visit local nature museums, or just explore.
Will my cell phone work at the cabin?
It is not likely. We have a telephone available for your use at our office just down the road.
Office Hours are: Monday through Friday 9:00 am until 5:00 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am until 12:00 noon, closed on Sunday. Of course in case of an emergency come use the phone.
Do I have to purchase a pass for overnight parking?
No, we provide you with a free parking area.
Can I smoke in the cabin?
We have a no smoking policy inside of the cabins. Smoking outside is just fine. If we find the interior of the cabin to be suspiciously tobacco-y, you will be charged a $300 cleaning fee.
